2. General Information
MoodPing is designed as a simple, locally usable Android app. The app allows users to select a current mood and share it as an image through the Android sharing function.
Personal data is only processed to the extent necessary to provide the app, store local mood history, or handle contact requests.
3. Data Processing Within the App
3.1 Local Mood Entries
MoodPing may store locally on the device which mood was selected or shared on which date. This data is used only to display the local history and calculate an average mood.
If a mood is saved more than once on the same day, the existing entry for that day may be overwritten.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where processing is necessary for providing the app's features, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR regarding the technically necessary provision and stability of the app.
3.2 Settings
App settings may be stored locally on the device in order to provide selected functions and display preferences.
3.3 No Own User Account
MoodPing does not provide its own user account or direct registration within the app.
3.4 No Cloud Synchronization
According to the current setup, mood entries are not transmitted to servers of the provider and are not synchronized in a provider-operated cloud.
3.5 No Own Tracking
MoodPing does not currently use its own analytics or tracking services operated by the provider.
4. Sharing Function
MoodPing can generate a mood image locally on the device and pass it to other apps through the Android sharing function.
The choice of the target app and any further processing by that app are controlled by the user. After the image has been passed to another app, the respective provider of the target app is responsible for its data processing.
5. References to Other Apps and External Content
The app may contain notices or references to other apps, offers, or websites of the provider, such as CKfeed, Prismion, or Rule Detective.
As long as such notices are displayed statically within the app, no additional personal data processing by the provider takes place according to the current setup. If external links are opened, the privacy terms of the respective target offer or platform provider apply.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on the legitimate interest in informing users about own offers.
6. Advertising and In-App Purchases

If advertising, paid features, or in-app purchases are integrated in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
